Organizational Structure and Ethical Feedback

My retreats, including daylong retreats, and all retreats at the center in Mendocino operate through Boundless Refuge, which has a fiscal sponsorship relationship with the nonprofit organization Off-Grid Retreats. All other teaching events are offered independently of this organizational structure.

Ethical conduct is integral to our practice, and therefore to my life and teaching. I understand ethical conduct not as a rigid set of rules, but as a way of engaging with the world that calls for care, while often asking us to navigate ambiguity and uncertainty. I recognize that the teaching role brings additional complexities to this, and I hold this with particular care, especially on long retreats.

I welcome feedback about my teaching and the retreat experience, and whenever possible, I hope people will feel comfortable bringing feedback directly to me. You can contact me at team@boundlessness.org to share feedback or set up a meeting.

I also recognize that it can sometimes be difficult to give feedback directly to someone—particularly when you don't feel heard, when there is a difference in power or authority, or when you are concerned about how your feedback might be received. If there is something you feel you need me to know but don't feel comfortable telling me directly, you are welcome to contact Tucker Peck and ask him to pass the feedback along to me.
